A failing prospector discovers a wounded Teamster on his claim. After being nursed back to health, the teamster reveals that he was transporting stolen gold when his wagon was overturned. The teamster’s partner was wounded in the crash so he traveled on foot to find help, happening upon the prospector.
The Teamster talks the prospector into helping him reach his partner before he dies, promising to split the treasure of the gold. Tempted by the gold, the two set out, but first must cross the
neighboring claim owned by the vicious Madder Brothers. Many wild and gruesome tales have been woven about the brothers strange way of life. The ruthless brothers capture the pair but after a night of scary stories about a monster that roams the nearby wood, the brothers let the prospector and teamster go only to follow them to the treasure. Overtaken by greed, the Brothers try to take the gold for themselves.
But before anyone can make it back to civilization, the monster they all fear begins to hunt them one by one. (The Good, The Bad and the Ugly meets Alien)
